Board Certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine & General Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Paul Shuler grew up with an appreciation for orthopedics starting in his childhood. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After working for General Motors for several years, he returned in 1992 to college earning his MD degree with honors from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Shuler then completed an affiliated General Surgical internship and Orthopedic Surgical Residency in Michigan.
He is board certified and experienced in both orthopedic and sports medicine. He provides both adults & children up-to-date surgical and nonsurgical treatment for both the upper and lower extremities from the shoulders to fingertips and hips down to the toes. He has served as Chief of Surgery and currently has surgical privileges at several hospitals and surgery centers in central Florida. Dr. Shuler is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America since 1998 and completed a mini-fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy. He is a member of several professional groups including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He derives great satisfaction from helping patients overcome a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions. He serves patients from all over Central Florida.
